Are you ready to learn a new craft?
Coffee & Crafts will be a once a month event where I learn a new craft and show you the process. I love to learn new things and coffee is always involved in anything I do. So why not combine them and make them a monthly event to share with you all! It won’t always be pretty or successful but I think it will be a lot of fun. Let’s learn a new craft together!
I have a long list of crafts that I want to try so I thought what better way than to show you how I do it. This way it makes me accountable so I have to complete at least one item from my very long “to learn” list each month. I’m going to start small and work my way up to bigger and harder crafts. There will be something for everyone. I am also looking for people to try along with me and share your results. If you’re interested send me an email.
If there is a craft that you have always wanted to try or even one that you have mastered and want to share with me and my readers, please contact me. I’d be happy to have you guest post.
What do you want to learn?
I love to hear from my readers. If you have something that you have always wanted to learn or even something that you have tried and failed to learn in the past and would like me to attempt it, let me know. You can leave a comment or send an email and I’d be happy to put your idea on the list. If it’s not already.
I plan to start small and with things that I already have the materials for. It will be a lot of fun to rummage through all my craft supplies. I have a lot of random supplies that I don’t even remember buying. I stumble upon things all the time that I don’t remember what I bought it for. But I’m sure I had a good reason. Maybe it was on sale. I’m sure there are things that I don’t even remember having ! So what should I do first?
OK this is not the official list but just some things that have come to mind as I’m writing this article. I have many, many things I want to try. But I tend to stick to the same things, paper crafts and painting. Let’s broaden my crafting horizons!
- Sola wood flowers (read an article here about my new obsession)
- Crepe paper flowers – I’ll admit, I did already attempt this one and it may be the first lesson.
- Paper quilling- I’ve done one or two little things with quilling and I loved it! I’m just not very good at it. Such tiny little pieces of paper!
- Making my own paper – super excited about this one!
- Paint pouring – looks so fun and messy!
- Crotchet and/or knitting – I’ve been trying to teach myself to crotchet for years!!! It’s super frustrating that I can’t seem to get the hang of it. So this one should be hilarious to see me attempt, yet again!
Now this is a very short list and in no particular order. But trust me, my original list is very messy and long. I have been adding to it for years.
